Navigation Basics¶
This guide introduces the core navigation structure of the E-Lighthouse Network Planner (ENP) Web Client. It will help you move confidently between views, tools, and panels in the interface.
๐ฅ๏ธ Main Screen Zones¶
The application is divided into three key interactive areas:
1. Top Menu Bar¶
Located at the top of the page, it provides global actions: - Load / Save Designs - Switch to Topology or Control Window - Access Settings, Help, and User Profile
2. Topology View (Main Canvas)¶
This is the primary area where you'll visualize and edit network designs: - Drag and drop nodes - Use right-click context menus - Access toolbars on the left and bottom sides
3. Control Window (Data Browser)¶
A panel for detailed inspection and editing of design elements. Here you can: - Browse nodes, links, ports, and services - Edit properties through interactive tables - Use tabs and folder structures to organize data
๐ Switching Between Views¶
You can change between Topology View and the Control Window in several ways:
| Action | How to Access |

| Open Control Window | Top menu: โOpen Control Windowโ or C + W |
| Switch from a node/link view | Right-click > "Open in Control Window" |
๐ Some shortcuts (like
